where do I begin... In the
year 2000000000 BC, God created light. In 10000000 BC, man created the
wheel. In 1879, Thomas Edison created
the light bulb. In 1901, the Wright
Brothers created human flight. In the
1980s, Al Gore created the internet... And in
March 2003, I have created MAYDOGMA!!! (How’s
that's for egotism?...) MAYDOGMA
is based on the doctrine that the internet was created for free speech,
creative ideas, comedy, sarcasm, petty pot shots...and the Simpsons. MAYDOGMA
is not intended for 16 year old internet geeks who think they are cool when
they curse, internet geeks who believe their opinion is the Word of God,
spam, criminals, AOL, and porn (although some of these have a place in my
heart). MAYDOGMA
is dedicated to giving our readers quality internet entertaining along with
original ideas, opinions, and humor on a wide range of topics, from sports to
politics, movies to business. MAYDOGMA.com
is committed to offering our readers entertaining and intelligent
commentaries on real issues, by REAL people. People who get out of the
house. People who value and respect
the comments of the readers. People
who will do almost anything to entertain you, the reader... Of all
the "great ideas" I've had in my life, this is the first I have
undertaken on my own budget, at my own risk.
But of all my "crazy ideas", this website is the one I am
most proud of and I truly believe that MAYDOGMA can be a HUGE success because
of the talent and dedication of its writers. Currently,
I have an interesting and diversified group of writers (including myself)
lined up to contribute articles. As of
right now, you can expect a new article from each writer on a WIDE range of
subjects at least once bi-weekly, as well as weekly updates to features on
the front page. Basically, if you
visit the site regularly, you will find something new. The
current game plan: I will be writing a general column every week, a continuation
of a column I used to write while in college.
I also plan on tackling a movie review (Maydog at the Movies)
and a sports column every other week.
Josh Rynne of A quick
partial list of the topics we will be covering in the coming months (and this
list is mostly just to get us found in more search engines): Yankees,
George Bush, Emeniem, Enron, Notre Dame, New York City, office life,
computers, high speed diets, Islanders, cornfields, how to get your
girlfriend to let you go out (Josh), Mike Dukakis, NASA, Bruce Springsteen,
Homer Simpson, Bears, American Idol, viruses, how much Boston College sucks,
gambling, web cams, Mia Hamm, hot chicks, life in general...and TIC TACS!!! Once we
establish a set schedule, I will let you know...Right now, count on an
article from everyone once every two weeks… Keep in
mind, none of us are professional writers, and, with rare exceptions, no one
has ever written a steady internet column or been published on the
internet. We are regular guys, talking
about regular topics. My long term
goal is to make MAYDOGMA a base where inexperienced writers can come and hone
their writing style/skills. We are
ALWAYS looking for new talent. Anyone

not plan on making ANY money off this site. However, if you like what you
see, please consider clicking on one of our ads or donating as little as a
dollar to MAYDOGMA.com for the time when I have to choose between this site
and living in a cardboard box. In
