I’ve spent three days trying to come up with a witty introduction explaining how MAYDOGMA ended up on this blog…

I wanted to comment on the money I’ve wasted buying a domain name and then renewing it month after month with virtually no new content. I wanted to talk about my staff leaving one by one to get on with their real lives…

I wanted to talk about my useless former job that left me so depressed some nights that I didn’t have the strength to sit down and pound out an article…

I wanted to yell at myself for selling out to 411 too quickly and not concentrating on MAYDOGMA. I wanted to talk about the recent split of 411 and Inside Pulse that has ravaged 411…

I wanted to talk about my limitations as a webmaster that hurt the overall product and lead me to realize I needed a system that can do most of the hard programming labor for me and allow me to concentrate on just writing.

I wanted to do all this…

But then I figured, “Fuck it, let’s just get back to writing articles…”




The short ‘skinny’ on the new blog:

1) This will NOT, NOT, NOT be a stupid whiny livejournal. Live journal is evil and useless. Never let ‘em tell you otherwise. Livejournal was created by Satan himself. It has wrecked thousands of lives, mostly because people too shy to talk about ANYTHING in people think cyber space is the best place to be venting personal secrets. I am not making MAYDOGMA a personal trash heap were you can hearing me whine about no one liking me or how often I get laid. My purpose is to entertain.


2) I’m not making promises on the frequency of posts. If I have an idea on my mind, I’ll write it. That simple. So expect a lot of short, nonsensical entries like “If I were a pen color, I’d probably be blue” and the like…


3) New: the comments system, which anyone can use and no one can abuse. You can say you hate me, you can say I suck, you can make fun of me, but if you cross a line, you’re gone. Bye-bye. Finished. And I’m not telling you what that line is either. It’s up to me. As long as your adding something meaningful to the website, you’re in…
